This year’s benefit, THE POWER OF THE ARTS, will celebrate Changing Worlds’ achievements and those of the students in our programs.
We will honor our 2008 Connecting Cultures Award Recipients: Sones de Mexico Ensemble Chicago and Clare Munana.

2008 Immigrant & Refugee Contributions Series
Changing Worlds invites you to celebrate diversity in Chicago by nominating an outstanding individual for the 2008 Immigrant & Refugee Contributions Award. Join us in our efforts to promote diversity by nominating someone by August 15, 2008.
To qualify as an honoree, the nominee must:
- Be an immigrant/refugee or a child of an immigrant/refugee
- Have made a notable contribution to the Chicagoland community in one of the following fields:
- Civic & Community Leadership
- The Arts
- Entrepreneurial & Business Leadership
- Education
- Sports & Entertainment
