Sandi J. Toll is an associate with the law firm of Jenner & Block LLP where she focuses on litigation, healthcare law and products liability defense. She also maintains an active pro bono practice representing individuals in need of legal services.
Sandi has always had a passionate interest in working with children and educational issues. She is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies, and Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she was a Child Law CIVITAS Fellow and a Senior Williams Fellow. Prior to entering law school,Sandi taught elementary school in the Compton Unified School District (California) and was selected as a 1997 Teach for America corps member.
Ken Watson is the director of information technology for USG Corporation in downtown Chicago. A math and computer science graduate of the University of Illinois- Champaign with an MBA from Northwestern University"s Kellogg School of Management, this former U.S. Air Force officer has spent a large portion of his life giving back to the community. Whether coaching the Air Force base enlisted men in basketball, coaching his four sons in football, baseball or basketball, or as Boy Scout Troop Master, Ken believes young men need preparation and opportunity to succeed in life.
A lifelong Chicago area resident, Ken has been involved in various local charitable organizations as a volunteer and patron. Ken and his family reside in the near western suburbs where attending his high-school-aged boys sporting events, exercising and golf occupy what little leisure time he has left.
Ken joined the Changing Worlds Board of Directors after completing the Chicago Arts & Business Council's summer 2006 On Board program.
Karyn Lynne Williams is the Founder of K L Management Consulting, a human resource consulting and dispute resolution company located in Chicago, IL. Karyn has held several marketing and human resource positions at Tribune Company, Allstate Insurance, Anheuser-Busch and Mercy Hospital. She is an experienced arbitrator and mediator of juvenile victim-offender, special education and employment/labor cases.
Karyn has a BA in marketing communications from Columbia College and an MS from Benedictine University in organization behavior. She developed her interest in education by teaching K-12 special education students, business professionals at DePaul University and corporate clients at the American Management Association. Karyn is actively involved in diversity initiatives with the Society of Human Resources Management and the Asian Health Coalition of Illinois.
