Katherine McCauley, Treasurer is an equity research associate at William Blair & Company, a Chicago-based investment firm. She grew up in Minnesota and moved to Illinois to attend college. She received her BA in business from Lake Forest College. Her interests in cultural diversity and education guided her to Changing Worlds.
Ryan M. Lewis, Secretary graduated from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California, with a BA in history and geography and is completing coursework towards an MA in public history at Loyola University Chicago. He has been the recipient of the Northern California Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete award and two research fellowships to historic Deerfield, Massachusetts.
As program officer at the Iillinois Humanities Council (IHC), Ryan manages and funds programs that serve diverse audiences in the state of Illinois including the Road Scholars Speakers Bureau, Museum on Main Street, the Grants Program and initiated a mobile reading and discussion program for bicyclists called Velosophie.
He has also served as a panelist on the public humanities at local, state and national conferences including Loyola University Chicago, DePaul University, the Illinois Association of Museums and the American Historical Association. In addition, he has also held various responsibilities in small-sized museums as docent, research fellow, administrative assistant and collections manager before joining the IHC as program assistant in 2001.
